About the Program
Who This Training Is For
This training is for people who feel called to help others on their inward journey and want a clear, practical framework to do so. It’s perfect for those who’ve completed PTM and feel ready to guide others, as well as anyone who’s ready to build a service-based practice rooted in awareness and presence.
What You'll Learn
In this training, you’ll learn how to guide others from unconscious patterns into conscious choice. Through the CHASM process—a simple, practical five-step framework developed by our founder, Russell Sturgess,—you’ll help participants uncover their own insights and step into greater awareness, all without being invasive or trying to “fix” anything.
You’ll also deepen your own present-moment awareness, discovering how the state of consciousness you bring to each session matters equally to, if not more than, what you do. With reflective questioning, deep listening, and mindful practices, you’ll hold space for transformation in a way that feels grounded, compassionate, and empowering.
By the end of the program, you’ll feel confident supporting others on their journey of self-discovery, helping them move beyond old patterns while embodying presence, curiosity, and unconditional support every step of the way.

Training Structure
Delivery: Online
Duration: 9 Months - 3 Years
The PTM Facilitator Training is self-initiated, meaning your pace determines your completion time.

Theoretical Component: 8 self-paced units with tutorial support (Units 1–8)

Practical Component: 1 case study completed under supervision (Unit 9)

Unit Introduction: Each unit clearly outlines the sessions and provides directions for completing the unit.

Self-Paced Learning: Work through the written content and training videos at your own pace, giving yourself time to absorb the material.

Activities: Complete exercises that help you practice your facilitation skills and explore how the material relates to your own experiences.

Unit Reflection: Identify and record the five most important takeaways from each unit.

Unit Quiz: Assess your understanding and see what information you have retained from the sessions in this unit.

Tutorial Sessions: Receive personalised support and guidance while practicing key parts of the program with expert feedback.

Case Study and Supervision: Apply your learning by guiding your first client through PTM under supervision, consolidating your skills in a real-world context.
Outcome
Upon successful completion of all nine units, participants are awarded a Certificate of Completion.

Prerequisites
Before enrolling in the PTM Facilitator Training Program, you’ll need to complete the 25-session Pathways to Mindfulness journey with a trained PTM Facilitator. Experiencing the work firsthand allows you to cultivate the awareness, insight, and presence you’ll later help others discover. This personal foundation is what enables you to guide with authenticity, clarity, and genuine understanding.
In addition to gaining first-hand experience with the programs, it is recommended that participants have, as a minimum, the following foundational skills:

Workbooks for your Case Study (unit 9)

Supervision sessions (unit 9)
Facilitators-in-training are encouraged to charge their case study participant to cover the costs of Unit 9 — the practical component of the training (valued at $990). Experience shows that case studies who invest financially are more engaged and committed to the process. If you choose not to charge your case study, you will be responsible for covering the cost of this final module.
